This combined excursion will give you an amazing opportunity to get acquainted with the history of two major cities of the island. First we will go to Larnaca - the city where Saint Lazarus, resurrected by Jesus, lived his second life. We will certainly visit the Church of St. Lazarus, one of the oldest churches in Cyprus, which was built in the 9th century on the site where the tomb of the saint was located. The melodious ringing of the bells of the Temple of St. Lazarus can be heard in all corners of Larnaca. Their habitual ringing is woven into the everyday life of the townspeople. How many generations of people came to the morning and evening services, announced by the ringing of the Temple bells!

The salt lake "Aliki" is a haven for many migratory birds, including pink flamingos. On the banks of which, in peace and quiet, is located the shrine of the Muslim world, the Hala Sultan Tekke mosque, where Umm Haram, a relative of the Prophet Muhammad, rests, 649 AD.

After leaving Larnaca, we will go to the only capital of Cyprus divided into two parts in the world - Lefkosia. Here we will always be near the Green Line, where we will have the opportunity to look at the occupied territory more than once. We will also see the Ammochostos Gate (Famagusta), the Statue of Liberty, the Archbishop's Palace, visit the Cathedral of St. John and the Byzantine Museum with a priceless collection of icons and paintings. You will have enough time to take photos at wonderful places. Our final stop in the capital will be in the picturesque old district of Laiki Gitonya, where you can wander through the narrow streets of the traditional quarter, visit many shops and shops, and have lunch.

We will make our final stop in the famous village of Lefkara, which is under the protection of the Cyprus Department of Antiquities and is included in the official register of cultural monuments of UNESCO. Famous for its uniquely beautiful and intricate handicrafts known as "lefkaritika", it was here that Leonardo da Vinci acquired the altar cover for Milan's Duomo Cathedral.
